Ukimoes:

✧ | Origin In the year 2223 Ukimoes (you-key-moes), also known as Uki-bots were first created as little characters apart of an old arcade game that's no longer play-able. The game was ALL about music, every single genre to ever exist was uploaded to it consistently. After the mass destruction of mammals, sea creatures, etc humans crave companionship with what was once lost. Recently the company that made Uki-bots have resurfaced and are loved by the many today! These animal based robots are dedicated to their owner and their music taste, so appearances usually equal what the music sounds like, or the owner's interpretation of what a robot looks like based on the music choice. Within the game exist Muo, a zombie puppy dog musical robot that has the parts to become a great rock/metal artist. She jams and breaks a few instruments from time to time.

✧ | Society The world consists of regular uki-bots, idols, and on the rare occasion "owners". In ukimoe culture idols are viewed as the hardest working of them all, in order for you to become an idol you have to compete in LOTS of competitions. The more known you become the more reputation points you collect. Plasma part(s) that make up a part of an idols body, help increase performance, whether it's dancing, singing, killing…. Plasma can be made from wax compound, kinetic light, etc. A small portion of it should consist of a glass shelling/other material to hold it inside and being made of mostly plasma does more harm than good to the bot. Some of the bots themselves still question whether earning these points in order to buy plasma parts validates them as a singer/dancer. On rare occasions skilled robot creators of these bots invent their own “plasma” parts which is extremely illegal. Rumors have spread around to bots that some idols were “illegally” made. Within the darkness of the Ukimoe city lies a black market..

✧ | Transportation and environment Due to the large size of the world, there are several sections on it and many are music based communities, but even with different types of music, some places do not have a prominent amount of Uki-bots dedicated to a single music type. As a result, many Uki-bots travel between the different areas, the main city is where a large portion of bots hang out at. Zooming around the city Uki-bots use their custom hoverboard to soar through the sky, some even hangout in the skateparks. In their world, the days are short and the nights are long, dark to the point you're able to see the moon and sun. The sky is a mix of dark/vibrant hues that change daily and it is possible to see shooting circuits every now and then. Even if it's night most bots prefer to stay active and enjoy the night life in the city. In the center of the city lies the grand Idol tower, it houses the best records in existence along with past and current idols works.

✧ | Daily life Ukimoes all over the world are invited to participate in festivals, events or competitions, usually accompanied by a lot of diverse music being played constantly. With shops and jobs being common in towns, reputation points are used as currency. These rep points are earned by the participation in the yearly/monthly festivals and competitions, making them very valuable as it's the only source of income. Although some do not bother participating in competitions that put you on the path of becoming an idol, those who do tend to follow along with these activities have a larger some of reputation points. Plasma began to be scarce in the world, with the plasma cross producing amounts that are never consistent. By being idols of plasma, all Ukimoes were drawn into the large amount of power these robots possessed. You can find most bots making music in the main parts of cities, going to their favorite idols concerts, etc.

✧ | A Ukimoes best friend Imu's are 2d flat faced pets most commonly roaming the Ukimoe world freely, it takes a bit to tame one, but once you have become bonded they never leave your side. Imu's are produced from the eye in the center of the plasma cross. They are able to revert to 3d forms....although they are mostly seen in only 2d. Ukimoes have come used to their existence roaming in various places. It's common to see Ukimoes giving gifts to these Imus in hopes to recieve a blessing from the plasma cross and become a great idol. Additionally, the bond allows the Ukimoes to access the Imus' energy, supplying them with the vitality needed to be an Idol. This energy transfer is a sensitive process, carefully managed to prevent harm to either party. The mutual energy exchange enhances the bond, converting it from simple companionship into a pact that sustains life. Over time, this bond has integrated into their culture, influencing societal norms, traditions, and rituals. The Ukimoe-Imus bond signifies more than a relationship; it demonstrates their unity.

✧ | Injuries The Ukimoe world is overall a peaceful place, but they a subject to participating in fights/battles during some world events. A Uki-bot getting their wires cut can stop them from functioning at all, they completely shut down. Its possible to put the wires back together if it's done by a professional. However, a powerful energy surge or a direct hit to their powerbox can cause irreversible damage. Repairing a Uki-bot requires specific tools and expertise, as their complex circuitry can easily be damaged by untrained hands. Some Uki-bots also have a remarkable feature of self-repair, where they can mend minor damages using nano-technology. However, this process can be time-consuming and is not effective for major damages. In these cases, they need to visit the Uki-bot repair centers, where skilled professionals can revive them back to their full potential. In the event of a serious system malfunction, a Uki-bot may enter a "hibernation" state to protect its powerbox core system. This state enables the Uki-bot to conserve energy and maintain essential functions until help arrives. Some Uki-bots have even pushed beyond this hibernation state in an attempt to secure a victory in ongoing competitions. It's also worth noting that the Ukimoe world has strict rules for battles to ensure the safety and fairness for all participants.Depending on how the bot is built it can have high defense armor, so plasma blast, metal claws, etc have little damage.

✧ | Weapons Here is a list of weapons that a Uki-bot can have, but it is not limited to these:

- Hand held weapons (Nunchaku, Swords, Spears, etc)

- Fire arms (Hand-held and built in)

- Plasma Screams (A wire snapping scream that tears many bots to shreds)

- Imu's can be used as weapons similarlly to a pet tiger

- Any built in weapons (Spikes, acid, etc)

- Elemental

✧ | Connecting with owners Uki-bots, the unique companions, establish an intimate connection with their owners by bonding over something universal - music. This bond is facilitated through a specialized music app that caters to the tastes of both the Uki-bot and the owner. It's a known fact that humans who create Uki-bots based on their personal music preferences are more likely to achieve a higher compatibility rating. This increases the chances of their Uki-bots being adept in the three main categories of skills (Singing, Dancing, and Killing/Fighting). However, it's worth noting that not every Uki-bot is assigned an owner. There is a considerable number of these bots that are free and roam independently in the world, demonstrating the flexibility of the Uki-bot system.

✧ | Becoming an idol The most common way to get plasma parts and become the idol you were made to be is to compete in many competitions and come out as a winner! Sounds simple right? Well, first let me go into detail on what these competitors look like. As we all know there are three main categories that Uki-bots prioritize; singing, dancing, killing/fighting. Every year three huge competitions test these bots’ abilities. Pow-Blastz is an annual fighting contest that has tens of thousands of bots entering an all-out brawl to earn a custom plasma part of their imagination. In the Pow-Blastz competition, Uki-bots undergo combat simulations and strength conditioning to ensure they can withstand any attack and deal powerful blows. Melu is a singing competition that encourages bots to showcase their vocal range and performance skills. For Melu, Uki-bots fine-tune their vocal processors and practice various music genres. They work on their stage presence and learn to captivate the audience with their performance. Meanwhile, Grooven is a contest that tests the bots' dancing capabilities, with energizing rhythms and challenging choreographies. Grooven, is used for Uki-bots to focus on their motion sensors and coordination. They learn complex dance moves and rhythms, often synchronizing with other Uki-bots to create stunning performances. Each competition is intense and only the strongest, most talented Uki-bots come out victorious, earning the coveted plasma parts to enhance their abilities and performances. To prepare for these competitions, Uki-bots undergo rigorous training, honing their skills. They often invest in performance coaches and advanced training modules to outperform their competitors. Success requires not just talent, but also strategy and determination. Once you've succeeded in AT LEAST one of the three main competitions, you'll need to bear in mind that the journey to the top is even more challenging. The hardest of all contests, the "IPEX", combines all three categories - fighting, singing, and dancing - into one grand competition. It's an electrifying spectacle where Uki-bots have to prove their superiority not in one, but all three disciplines. The "IPEX" takes the stakes to a whole new level, with the winner earning not just a plasma part, but the privilege of becoming the next known idol. The Uki-bots, for this competition, undergo an even more rigorous training regime, pushing their processors to the limit to outperform their competitors. To succeed in the "IPEX", you must remember that victory requires more than just talent. It's about the courage to get up when you're knocked down, the determination to keep going when the odds are against you, and the strategy to outsmart your competition. Remember, every battle is a step closer to becoming the idol you were made to be. So get ready, train hard, and give it your all in the ultimate match!

Lesser known ways to go about becoming an idol are the following:

- Receive a blessing from an Imu

- Purchasing from the Black Market

- Saving up enough reputation points (Through competitions)

- Having an ultimate bond with an owner or other Uki-bot
